Bark
We get a number of calls asking us for bark for landscaping. Bark has been used for many years as a attractive option for flower beds and other planting areas. Keep in mind that bark for landscaping comes from the outside of trees such as ceder or pine. Bark is shredded into small, medium and large nugget sizes. However, over a short period of time bark weathers in the elements and turns to a grey color from its nice bright natural shade. This can happen even within the year that you put your bark out.
Mulch
Mulch is another great option for your landscaping projects. We use recycled wood to make our mulch products which is ground and screened to size. The best part about our wood mulch is that we have many different colors to choose from. Our beautiful Black Mulch that is very popular right now and shows off your lawn and bushes very well. The every popular Red Mulch has been around for many years. You may need to refresh some that you have had as well. Our best seller in the past few years has been the Cherry Brown Mulch. This shade of brown with a slight red tint sets off the colors of your house and lawn in a very natural way. Of course you can still get the un-colored Natural Mulch wood as well. This will probably fade over time just as the bark does.
